Hi Peeps

Its time for the new challenge 'A Girl's / Ladies Birthday Theme' at Stamp-n-Doodle!! It can be any project for the birthday celebration of any women in our life!
And the prize is a chance to grab one of Stamp-n-Doodle's Digi Stamps and also the top- 3 badges!!

After having a stint in creating the step card, i today created another version of it -> Side Step Card :))

So here's my first Side Step Card that's inspired by the happy and bright colors in below inspiration pic at Tuesday Trigger : Happy Birthday to you

The white CS for the card is from ItsyBitsy. Have lined the entire card with blue glitter strips from ItsyBitsy glitter paper! And since it is the birthday theme.. i chose the adorable image - All dressed up Digital Stamp from SND. Have adorned the girl dress with pink crepe paper and the head cover by pink rhinestones.
Here's the card in another angle!

Have also added the - tiny winy banner containing - CELEBRATE! Have adorned the third step of the card with the sentiment - "Happy Birthday To You" along with balloons :)

The second step contains many packed gifts (lucky girl!!). And the first step contains the most adorable cake i have ever seen .. LOL!! I am in love with this cake shape!! to which i have added the candle - six (do observe the tiny flame)

So here's my project containing the possible birthday embellishments that i could think of :)

And dear peeps do view the other amazing DT entries out there and play along with your 'Girl's/Ladies Birthday' creations :)

Hi Peeps!!!

I am here today for another DT post with Artistic Inspirations! The current challenge is :CHALLENGE 26: Love/Anything Goes

Our Sponsors this time are:
Floppy latte
Floppy Lattee

Smudgtastic
Smudgetastic

The prizes up for grabs are voucher/5 digis from the sponsors and the Top-3 badges!!

For my project, I chose to color the image - "Flower fairy" from Smudgstastic!

Instead of making a regular card, i thought of trying one of the fancy fold cards!
And lo, here it is, my first attempt in creating a step card!

This is a three step card. The first step is adorned with green grass and "wooden" gate, both of which are hand-cut, adorned with a old red ribbon-bow and the sentiment - "Love you Forever"

For the second step, i have again paper pieced the grass, also drew the green colored grass and added the colored image!
And the other flowers that are seen are the ones cut out from the actual image, re-sized and colored.

For the back step, i have again paper pieced the green hills , with colored grass and have added shiny metallic sequins as the flowers. I have colored the background with the yellow sun and blue sky. Have also added few butterflies.. with two of them flying with heart shaped path!

So here's my attempt in creating a love themed card amidst a picturesque background!

So Peeps do play along this challenge and yes, dont forget to visit the amazing works of the other DT members as well!

Linking the card to the below challenges:

  • Valentines Day or Love: C.R.A.F.T Challenge
  • Lavishly Luscious Layers: Top Tip Tuesday ( Tip: The image contained a fairy out of a flower, to have a complementing background, i have resized, re-colored the same flower out of the image into many flowers - in the second step of the card!)
  • Becky's Bingo Grid: inky Chicks
  • favourite Colour Combo: Fab n Funky Challenges (green+red+pink)

Hi Peeps!!

Hope you doing very well!!

I am here today for my first DT post with Hands 2 hearts Challenges which has the current challenge theme - "New Beginnings". Thanks Vaibhavi for trust on me!

For my project, i have created a "Fancy Fold" card - Easel Card based on "Wedding/Love" theme!
And voila! Here's my card!! :)

To be honest, this has been my favorite card till date ;-).

As always, the card and all its embellishments are completely handmade. To go with the theme, i have added a glamorous couple embracing each other on their wedding day as the main object of my card, behind a glittery hand cut heart.(P.S: The red glitter heart is cut out of a well preserved old wedding card :) )
The red and back swirls at the background are also hand-cut.

Here's the card in another angle!

The red and white flowers are handmade out of ItsyBitsy handmade paper! I have also added silver glitter strips onto all sides of the card and the black glitter strips with black swirls as the pillars.
Here's the front view of the card:

To the base of the card, i have added red ribbon and complementing sentiments - "Be Mine" - "Always"!

So aint this card - "lovely" ?? The Red-Black-White is also my favorite combination of colors :)
I really really enjoyed creating this card :) and P.S: This is my first attempt in creating an Easel Card!

And Peeps!, I am also applying this card for the current challenge "Fancy folds with love theme" and for the DT call at For the Love of Crafting challenge

Linking this card to the following challenges:
  • Weddings & Celebrations Challenge: Itsy Bitsy - The Blog Place
  • Have a Heart: Pile It On
  • CELEBRATE LOVE OR ARE YOU SEEING THE COLOR RED: Craft Us crazy
  • RED AND OR/HEARTS: Tammy's Scrapin Corner

  • Tic-Tac-Toe: Bearly mine Challenges (Flowers-layers-swirls-glitter)
  • Three (3) favorite Colors: Love to Create Challenge Blog (Red-black-White)
  • Red and Black with a Valentine Theme: Dynamic Duos
